Dark Sky Quality

READINGS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL SITE RELOCATION IS COMPLETE…

The dark sky quality is constantly monitored to determine if astrophotography and astronomical observation are deemed ideal.  A flat line above 20 MPSAS is a clear dark sky without moonlight and clouds.  A jagged line depicts a cloudy dark sky due to the clouds reflecting the light pollution from the metropolitan area to the west.  A flat line below 20 MPSAS is synchronous to the location and phase of the Moon (graphed as light-colored dots).
